Dr. Rafael Porras DDS, MSD, is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Specialist practicing in South Florida. He was born and raised in San Jose Costa Rica, growing up he frequently visited his relatives in Miami, making the decision to practice in Florida very easy.
He is a graduate from the Dental School at the University of Costa Rica where he earned his DDS. Following that, he completed a two-year Advance Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center and a one-year Fellowship in General Dentistry from the University of Connecticut Health Center. After this he completed a three-year Specialty Certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry as well as Master of Science in Dentistry was awarded by the Louisiana State University.
Dr.Porras mission is to provide exceptional dental, periodontal and implant care to his patients using the latest techniques in a stress-free environment. When Dr. Porras is not at work, he enjoys the outdoors along with his wife Andreja and sons Liam & Luca can often be found in a park or at the beach enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
Dr. Moldauer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Florida Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the South Florida District Dental Association, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Honor Dental Organization.
He served as Associate Director of Postgraduate Endodontics and Associate Director of Predoctoral Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He has published on the Pathogenesis of Periapical Pathology, Evaluation of Ultrasonic in Endodontics, Evaluation of different methods of Retreatment Techniques and the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography for the evaluation of the internal morphology of mandibular molars. Currently, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Endodontics and Co- Director of the Postgraduate Surgical Endodontics Course at NSU-CDM and served as an endodontic consultant at the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital GPR program.
He is a member of the scientific advisory board of the Journal of the American Association of Endodontics. He trains endodontic residents around the world and is a visiting professor at Universidad Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, Universidad Garcilaso de la Vega, Lima Peru, Universidad Autónoma de Tlaxcala in Mexico, and Universidad Santo Tomás in Colombia, South America. And when Dr. Moldauer is not working he enjoys traveling and spending time with his kids.
Dr. Justin Schneider is an accomplished Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive experience between Illinois, New York, Texas and Florida. He completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital systems. He specializes in a wide range of services, providing exceptional service.
Care to his patients, from dental implants to wisdom teeth extractions under IV sedation, bone grafting, sinus lifts and augmentation, along with treating pathology. Dr. Schneider is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He participates in yearly mission trips, providing dental care to underserved areas and spreading smiles around the world. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, staying at the forefront of advancements in his field. Dr. Schneider is fluent in English and has some proficiency in Spanish, ensuring effective communication with a diverse range of patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Schneider enjoys pursuing various interests, including photography, staying fit through working out, and exploring new places through traveling. His passion for mission trips also reflects his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others, both locally and internationally. Hey there! I’m Florencia, and I come all the way from the beautiful city of Mendoza in Argentina. It’s a pleasure to meet you! I have a son, who is my biggest blessing, and we love to go on family adventures every chance we get. I’ve actually been a part of this practice since 2022.

Hi I’m Sue, I was born and raised in Miami, but I am of Panamanian descent. I joined the Artistic Smiles’ family originally as a patient when I was 3 years old and then joined the team in 2023 as front desk. I love working at Artistic Smiles, because of the welcoming family environment that has been created over the years.

Hello my name is Tahini, but everyone knows me as Tay. I was born and raised in Cuba, but I am of Italian descent. I’ve been working as a dental hygienist since 1997. In 1998 I started with Dr. Pairot’s practice Parkwood Dental, then continuing my career with Dr. Yon since he bought the practice in 2002 and we became Artistic Smiles.
My career is my passion! I love helping patients obtain and maintain good oral and overall health. My other passion is being a mother to my two beautiful children who are my pride and joy. On my free time I love to be creative and get inspired. I enjoy trying make up, making fashion jewelry, arts and crafts, pretty much anything creative. I love to travel with my family and loved ones, to just about anywhere with fresh clean air like the beach and the mountains. I love spending time with my four legged little princess Alaska.
Hi everyone I’m Clara, I was born and raised in Venezuela and I moved with my family to the US in 2021. Since dentistry runs in my family I decided I wanted to become a dentist as well. While in Venezuela I received my degree in dentistry in 2000, returning to school and specializing in Orthodontics in 2007 and in 2021 received my dental hygiene license and began working in dental hygiene in the US.
I love working with Dr. Yon because he’s very ethical and professional not just with the team, but with the patients as well. On my days off I love spending time with my family, going to the beach and outdoor activities.

Hello I’m Lily; I’m originally from Bogota, Colombia. I studied and obtained my degree to be a dental assistant at Lindsay Hopkins Technical School in 1986 and have been working as a dental assistant ever since. I joined Artistic Smiles in 2023 and I can truly say I am very proud to work with Dr. Yon as he is very friendly, professional, and does excellent work.
